I've given it a couple baths using Dawn Power Spray dish soap, rinsed the bezel out well, turned the bezel under running warm water (not as easy to do on this watch since it's stiff), and have turned the bezel several times (probably 50 times). The bezel is stiff and harder to rotate on my 13 year old Submariner ND 14060 A serial compared to a new model Sub that I test drove today in a local AD. Any suggestions why? The guy in the store said probably because it has been polished..and over the years this happens.

If you still have difficulty turning the bezel there could be some sand or dirt lodged beneath the bezel and it can scratch the parts pretty easily. Then remove the bezel and spring and carefully clean them. I recently purchased a Rolex from a regular jewelry store and the bezel was working.
