Having spent a lot of time in this Forum I've noticed for every 1 complaint about Chanel's quality, there's another 100 of us that have never experienced issues. I have 6 Chanel purses/wallets and have had ZERO quality issues so far, I have 3 pairs of sunglasses all infallible. I'm thinking/planning ahead for a future Chanel purchase (small or medium classic flap in caviar) and am so torn between buying new or preloved. I hear so many complaints about Chanel's quality having declined, but most of what I've heard/read has been so vague. After a nearly one-month trial, Chanel has won its case against luxury reseller What Goes Around Comes Around. The jury voted in favour of Chanel unanimously on all four counts. They ruled in favour of Chanel for its trademark infringement, false association and unfair competition claims, as well as its false advertising claim. I've been buying Chanel since 2010, classic flaps, reissues, WOCs. All have had excellent, impeccable quality. No problems with any. Lambskin wears out quickly though, so I would recommend caviar for frequent use bags. Some of "flaws" I see on this forum are ridiculous.
