But after owning this bag for a year here’s my honest opinion. I would not buy another one. My heat stamp is fine. My tote is over 2 years old, but she is rotated with other bags. I just purchased it! Fingers crossed mine holds up as great as yours.

Does anyone use one they would recommend and could hold a 13” mac air laptop (perhaps in sleeve) as well or have the laptop fit on the side? I have checked out YSL shopping tote and i find its material so thin and flimsy and doesn’t worth the price tag at all (lusted after that bag for awhile then i went nope by the first time i touched the bag). If you have to carry a lot of stuff and it's a big campus, I'd get a backpack and use LV or YSL on weekends and evenings.
