Not exactly the same but when I bought a Rolex Date once, the first time I tried to set it, the crown stem came loose. The watch went back to the seller as they wouldn't pay for the repair. I have also found that resizing and checking bracelets is a job better done by a careful owner than most jewellers! All you need is the right size screwdriver.
Hi all, hoping I didn’t mess up my Rolex. I was traveling from Asia to US so I went to set my time backwards (perhaps ill advised). The date moved backwards. Now when I advance the time forward, the date will jump ahead by 2 days and is just generally acting weird. I have a sea dweller from 2020.
While the watch generally looks OK, I do notice that the 11 o'clock diamond marker is slightly off-balance, with regards to angle, and appears to be thinner than other diamond markers. I contend that this could be due to the picture, though.
The Bubbleback's importance in combining Rolex's waterproof "Oyster" case and "Perpetual" automatic movements didn't go unnoticed by early wristwatch collectors. In the 1980s and '90s, the Rolex Bubbleback was the watch to have, the way a vintage Daytona was in 2017 or a steel Nautilus was in 2021.

Mine had a super loose clasp and was a lil spaced like that when I got it and they solved the problem in front of me as I stood there. Good luck 👍🏼. Reply.
