I don't throw this term around a lot, but this is a boring fragrance. It's so generic and insignificant that has me baffled about how much hype it's getting as "the next Sauvage". At least Sauvage had an intense ambroxan that was unusual to general consumers.
Yves Saint Laurent Y - This EDT smells fresh but really nothing special. It smells clean and it isn't too strong. Scent: 7/10 Longevity: 6/10 Sillage: 6/10 Bottle: 5/10 Value for money: 6.5/10 Synthetic, uninspired, loud, just smells like a "blue" fragrance without any discernible notes (to me). Lots of ambroxan, lots of amber-woody aromachemicals. Performance seems pretty decent They're both "blue" but very different. I have the edp of both. Y is very sweet especially in the very beginning. It dries down to be less sweet but jrs still sweeter than sauvage. Sauvage is just so heavy on the ambroxan, which is a love or hate thing.
